Current Beauty Wishlist

It's impossible to keep up with all the new beauty launches - both in terms of your purse and in terms of keeping up with the news! So today's post is some of the items I'm currently lusting after. Some of them are quite affordable and some are definitely more indulgent and spendy, but a girl can dream, right?

By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Serum.

By Terry is a cult beauty brand founded by beauty industry legend Terry de Gunzburg and all of their products are incredibly luxurious, elegant and classic. In fact, one of their other products which is on my wish list - their Baume De Rose lip balm- is hailed as the "Rolls Royce" of lip balms!

The By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC Serum is a serum which enhances radiance, provides some colour correction, boosting luminosity and acting as a primer to blur imperfections and even the skin tone. It comes in four shades - Immaculate Light, Rose Elixir, Apricot Glow and Sunny Flash. The first two shades are perfect for paler skin tones. Apricot Glow as it suggests, is a warmer, darker shade to give a warm glow to the skin. Sunny Flash is the darkest, bronzey shade, for darker skin tones or tanned skin. Apricot Glow  reminds me colour wise of the Flormar Double Radiance Primer which I already love, so Apricot Glow is my wishlist choice! One of the fellow bloggers/youtubers that I look to a lot for style and beauty inspiration is Lydia from and this is one of her all time favourite products and her skin just looks absolutely beautiful with this under her foundation.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm.

I recently finished my tub of Cailyn's Dissolv'It Cleansing Balm which I absolutely loved and I'm really keen to try more balm cleansers. This Moringa Cleansing Balm is raved about by many in the beauty industry and claims to melt away makeup to leave the skin squeaky clean but incredibly soft. It can also be used as a therapeutic treatment mask and I really love the idea of slathering this on and getting into a hot bath to allow the steam to help the balm to open pores and to help the skin to absorb all the gorgeous oils.

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream.

On a recent nose through House of Fraser at all the stuff I really shouldn't be buying, I tested out this Origins GinZing eye cream and I'm still thinking about the fact that I didn't buy it! I've been having a lot of poor sleep and late nights lately, and this wonder cream is meant to reduce eye bags, puffiness and the appearance of dark circles. I've read many rave reviews of it from bloggers that I trust, and Origins are one of my favourite skincare brands. It contains Caffeine, Ginseng and Magnolia Extract to brighten up the eyes and refresh the eye area to make you look more awake. It has a very cooling gel-cream texture and the most amazing, refreshing scent with a hint of citrussy freshness.

Morphe Fall Into Frost (35F) Eyeshadow Palette.

How perfectly Autumnal is this eyeshadow palette?! The Morphe 35F contains 35 matte and shimmer shades, with a gorgeous selection of earthy russet, gold, coppery and cranberry tones. It contains every shade you would need for either a subtle day time look or a warm smokey eye. It's amazing value too for the amount of shades you get. I'm planning on picking this up for my future makeup artist kit - if I don't love it too much myself to share it that is! It's a palette in high demand so it goes out of stock quite often on Cult Beauty but you can find it here when it does land back in stock and you can sign up for the waiting list to be notified. It is however in stock at Cloud 10 Beauty here at the moment!

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

I've been lusting after this palette for absolutely ages. I popped into Harvey Nichols the other day - again to look at things I shouldn't be buying - and when passing the Hourglass counter, the lady there asked would I like a mini makeover so of course I said yes please!

The Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette is a trio of their Ambient Lighting powders which provide a beautiful soft-focus, natural glow and radiance to the skin without any obvious glitteriness. The first shade was used on me as a setting powder, the middle shade as a highlight on the cheekbones, and the last shade as a bronzer to add a warm glow. It looks incredibly natural on the skin and I can now definitely understand the hype! I will most definitely be back for it when I have saved up a few euros..

Pixi Lash Nourish Makeup Remover Pads.

I was on the lookout for a new eye makeup remover recently and when chatting with one of the girls in Marks and Spencers recently these were recommended - especially for someone like me with sensitive eyes. Marks and Spencers' Beauty department is really impressive these days actually - if you haven't checked it out in a while you definitely must! My usual go-to eye makeup removers are either Simple if I'm having a month where I have to watch the pennies, or Clarins if money is no object. These Pixi Makeup Remover Pads are quite reasonably priced at somewhere in between the two. These are infused with Argan Oil, Panthenol and Castor Oil to gently and effectively remove eye makeup without tearing out half your eyelashes. The little pot is very travel-friendly too.

I could ramble on for hours about the items that I'm currently obsessing over but I think I'll stop here for the moment for the sake of my future bank balance! Let me know if you enjoy reading these kinds of posts and what's currently on your own wishlist. I'd also love to know if you've tried any of these products on my own wishlist and if so what you thought of them!

Bye for now,
