In "Simple Tips to Live Beautifully", Pippa shares her tips for looking good, living well and feeling great. The book is broken up into three sections - Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle - and is full of tips from decluttering your wardrobe to looking good in a photograph to getting your face done in 10 minutes. There are also sections full of tips on styling your home, including ideas for a children's playroom, living room and a beauty room which is the stuff of my dreams!
The book is full of beautiful. elegant photography, as you would expect from Pippa, and the sections are very much written in a conversational, relaxed style although you can tell that she knows what she's talking about!
So what did I think of the book? Is it worth picking up for yourself or as a gift for the beauty fan in your life?

I particularly liked the sections on how to get ready in 10 minutes (essential for busy Mums or busy women in general!) , how to style up an outfit (also perfect for Mums), tips for buying investment pieces and the wardrobe essentials that all women should have. If you are the type that slacks on your skincare regime, then her tips for an effective skincare routine and how to determine your skin type will definitely help. And you will think twice before picking up a face wipe again!
The interiors sections are full of Pinterest-worthy images and as for her beauty room and office- I would live in either of those rooms! There are also some practical tips and straightforward recipes for entertaining which I'm looking forward to trying out over the festive season.
I don't want to spoil the experience for you if you haven't read the book yet so I won't go into any more details for now. But I would highly recommend this book for any beauty fanatics or anyone just getting into beauty and fashion and looking to get some simple tips. Busy Mums will find lots of practical information in there too. It reminds me in terms of writing style and presentation of Fleur de Force's The Luxe Life, and both books are equally elegant and perfect coffee table material.
It's also a very easy book to pick up when you have a few minutes to spare and read a chapter or two, and not something that you have to sit down and read in one go if you don't have time.
After reading this, I was very much inspired to make more of an effort with my wardrobe and declutter it and a lot of our home. Pippa believes that anyone can be stylish, regardless of age, budget or body shape and that it comes down to feeling good in your own skin. A positive message in my opinion when these days on social media we are bombarded with images of the perfect abs and the perfect butt and the perfect selfies.
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely get plenty of inspiration from it. I predict it will be on many Christmas lists this year!
Have you read this or is it on your own Christmas wish list? Let me know in the comments below :)
Bye for now,
