What's new in Beauty?

New beauty product launches

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and Happy 1st August! :) Today is a Bank Holiday in Ireland so no work for us thankfully! Today's Makeup Monday post is a quick round up of some of the new product launches and other stories from the beauty world that were all over social media this week!
I love Instagram but this week it has been a really bad influence - my wish list is growing by the minute..Anyway, onto the bits of news that I thought might be of some interest to you guys :)

The Kat Von D range is coming to Debenhams.

What's new in Beauty

Kat took to her Instagram recently to reveal that the much sought after range is finally going to be available in Ireland and the UK in Debenhams later this year. It will be available online on and from the 13th September and in Debenhams stores from early October, starting with Oxford Street in London on the 5th October.

Her range is one of Sephora's best selling brands ever and this development will save on the massive shipping costs that usually apply when ordering US brands to our side of the pond. Some of her most popular products include the Lock-it Foundation, Shade and Light Face Contour Palette, Studded Kiss Lipsticks and the Tattoo Liner. I haven't tried any of these personally but when they do land here I will be most excited to try the eyeliner and the foundation.

Colour Pop Cosmetics introduced International Delivery.

What's new in Beauty

If you follow me on Facebook you may have seen a recent post about the fact that the much raved about brand is now shipping internationally including to our lovely country here. I for one am looking forward to trying out their bestselling Lippie Stix and their Ultra Matte Lip Colours. They also have an unbelievable range of colours and finishes in their eyeshadows. The only downside is that the delivery cost is a bit steep with a flat rate of $25! Their products are very reasonably priced though with an average of $5 or $6 for lipsticks or eyeshadows so if you are going to to put in a big order all at once then the shipping will be more bearable or justified. If you are only going to order one or two items then delivery will end up costing you more than the order itself.  One option might be to combine an order with a friend who is looking to pick up a few things too and then split the delivery cost.

Gemma from the Beauty Nook recently wrote a post about her haul from Colour Pop which you might like to read here. It's great to get tips from another Irish beauty fan who has already gone through the process of shopping with them :)

TAM Beauty website launch.

TAM Beauty

TAM Beauty

TAM Beauty

TAM Beauty are the Company behind some of my current favourite affordable, high quality makeup brands - Makeup Revolution, Freedom Makeup and I Heart Makeup. They have just launched a new website earlier this week where you can now purchase any of their brands from the one place - meaning that if you are looking to buy from Freedom and Makeup Revolution for instance, you will now only pay for one delivery charge and all your items will be shipped together. This is great in particular for Irish customers as these brands still aren't widely available here - although they are starting to pop up in more and more independent pharmacies. We also don't have many Superdrug branches here in Ireland whereas there are plenty of Superdrug stores in the UK. The new website is

Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow Palette.

Kylie Jenner Eyeshadow Palette

Another bit of news that came out this week was that after the success of her Lip Kits, Kylie Jenner has decided to launch an eye palette which will be called the Kyshadow Palette. The nine-pan bronzey shaded palette sold out in minutes on the 26th July when it launched in the US! There have been many suggestions made this week that it is very similar to Shaanxo's eyeshadow palette but that obviously hasn't deterred beauty fans and Kardashian fans from snapping it up! Keep an eye on her website or her social media if you are looking to pick one up as the restock will probably be announced there!

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Soft Luxe Range.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics Soft Luxe Collection

Tanya Burr is a hugely successful UK blogger and Youtuber with over 3 and a half million(!) subscribers to her channel where she creates vlogs,  makeup tutorials, baking videos etc. She already had a range of makeup launched previously and has recently extended this to include three matte liquid lipsticks, two eyeshadow palettes and three matte nail polishes. I don't own any of her first collection but I have placed an order on Feel Unique for the nail polishes and a couple of other bits. Keep an eye on my social media as there will be a "haul" and first impressions post on them when they arrive :)

Cocoa Brown Tontouring Brushes.

Cocoa Brown Tontour 2 Piece Brush Set

Cocoa Brown have launched a set of two kabuki type brushes for tonoturing/contouring in the signature Cocoa Brown pink. The best selling Irish company also added a few other new products to their range recently - the Kind Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel and some Self Tanning Wipes.
The set of two brushes includes a Flat Head Round Stippling Brush for applying tan to the face (and apparently hands and feet!) and a Rectangular Flat Contour brush for tontouring/contouring.
The two pack retails at €11.95 and they can be bought online from Inish Pharmacy. Cocoa Brown's Facebook page also has regular updates of nationwide stockists so follow their page if you're not already!

Kate Moss for Rimmel New 15 Years Lipstick Collection.

Rimmel 15 years Kate Moss Lipstick Collection

Rimmel are celebrating 15 years in partnership with Kate Moss and have launched a special edition lip collection of 6 shades of reds and nudes- in the prettiest rose gold packaging. of course! They are new additions to the Lasting Finish range, which are creamy, moisturising lipsticks so I will definitely be looking out for a couple of the nude shades in particular! Their RRP is €10,99 but I think Boots are running an offer at the moment for buy one, get one half price on Rimmel products in case you are curious..

Have you tried any of the brands mentioned above? And what are you most excited to try out? Let me know in the comments..

Bye for now,
